- Editor & journalist could be jailed for contempt of court

The High Court in Dublin has ordered the editor of the Irish Times and the newspaper's public affairs correspondent to comply with the Mahon Tribunal.

The Court said that there is "little or no risk" the order will lead to the revealing of a source of a story on payments to the Taoiseach. However, the Irish Times had said that answering any questions on now destroyed documents could lead the tribunal identifying the source.
